DR Harley Moffatt
Harley completed his Bachelor of Dental Science degree at the University of Melbourne in 1970. After graduating, he spent two years in the Royal Australian Air Force as a dental officer followed by two years in private practice in London. On returning to Melbourne, Dr Moffatt commenced private practice in Kew, with a philosophy based on the provision of the highest quality restorative care for his patients, in combination with sound principles of preventative health care in order to maintain teeth and oral health through life.
This philosophy embraces a caring patient / dentist / staff relationship that can provide the best treatment result for each patient’s individual needs, in an ultra-modern, comfortable environment. Harley has a keen interest in occlusion, advanced restorative and aesthetic dentistry. He regularly attends national and international conferences and postgraduate lectures to ensure the most up-to-date techniques, materials and equipment are employed in his practice for the benefit of his patients.
He is an active member of several postgraduate societies, which include the International College of Prosthodontists, the Australian Prosthodontic Society and the Australian Osseointegration Society. He has also been a part-time clinical demonstrator at the University of Melbourne. Dr Moffatt has been working in an association with Dr Paul Wright since 1989. Harley is married with four children who keep him busy after hours.
