- The review appointment

Does composite bonding hurt?
In the vast majority of cases, no anaesthetic is required, and no discomfort is experienced. Because we’re adding material to your tooth rather than removing any, the procedure is genuinely non-invasive.
How long does the appointment take?
A single tooth repair might take 30 to 45 minutes. A full smile transformation across multiple teeth is a longer appointment but, in many cases, can still be completed in one visit. We’ll give you a realistic time estimate at your consultation.
How do I look after composite bonding?
Much the same way you’d look after your natural teeth. Brush twice daily, floss regularly, and attend your check-ups. We’d suggest moderating consumption of heavily staining foods and drinks, or rinsing with water afterwards. If you grind your teeth, a night guard is a wise investment in protecting your result. We’ll recommend one if it’s relevant to you.
Can composite bonding be repaired if it chips?
Yes, and this is one of composite’s practical advantages. Small chips or wear can be repaired quickly and affordably without replacing the whole veneer. Porcelain, once damaged, often requires full replacement.
Will composite bonding look natural?
